Group Etiquette
Ground Rules
There are a few ground rules for participation in our community. Please respect these rules, and each other.
Everyone has the right to: Learn, Be Safe and Have Fun
The rights and responsibilities you have in class remain the same on this website. You should speak and act in the same scholarly ways you do in class. Here are some more specifics responsibilities to make sure these rights are upheld on the website:P>
LEARN
Don't use "Chat" or write on people's walls during class time unless instructed to do so.
Just like everything else on the website, we can see what you say in chats or on each other's walls. This means we will KNOW if you use them during class! Feel free to have fun with these at another time...
Stay on topic in Forums.
Please pay attention to the topic of your messages, and check that it still relates to the original question. Off-topic discussion may be moved elsewhere or deleted.
BE SAFE
Use appropriate language
Don't panic about spelling and grammar, but speak like the scholars you are and avoid anything inappropriate. It should be noted: Mr. Jacob and Ms. Kelly can read everything on this website. Most items you write will have to be approved by one of us before it appears on the website. All other items we can delete if they are inappropriate.
Ignore spammers.
"Spam" are unwanted messages that are usually caused by viruses or really annoying people. Nobody likes it. IGNORE IT. If you see anything that looks unfamiliar or written by someone you don't recognize--DO NOT CLICK or RESPOND and tell Mr. Jacob or Ms. Kelly immediately.
HAVE FUN
Explore the website!
There are many cool features on this website that we won't always have time in class to use, please feel free to explore them on your own time!
Thank you, and ENJOY!
